Teresa Soto, RN, DON

Teresa has been working for Grace Skilled Nursing & Therapy – Norman for 12 years. What she likes most about working here are the residents and the wonderful people she gets to work with every day. She highly recommends Grace – Norman if you are searching for medical assistance for every day life. The longevity of the staff here shows just how great Grace – Norman is to both their residents and staff. Everyone at Grace – Norman is considered family to her. She started working for Grace – Norman prior to testing for her NCLEX for her LPN license. Grace gave her the ability and flexibility to go back to school while working full-time and eventually obtaining her RN license. She was given the opportunity to work in all aspects of nursing during her career at Grace from aiding, passing meds, being an LPN, ADON, then getting her RN and becoming the Director of Nursing. Her greatest accomplishment individually at Grace was becoming Grace – Norman’s DON. She is also very grateful to all her staff staying tough during the peak of COVID-19. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and two sons, whether it be swimming or outdoor activities. She highly recommends her facility to anyone searching for assistance in everyday life, because when you enter Grace – Norman you will find that this is a family environment and the staff are very friendly, compassionate and kind.

Halie Linn, RN, ADON

Halie started working for Grace Norman in January 2014. She enjoys interacting with the residents on a daily basis. She said Grace Norman has a great team of nurses that are more than equipped to meet the needs of your family member. Grace Norman she says, has been extremely welcoming to her since she started. The company has given me the tools and resources she needs to further her education. She enjoys going around to different residents each morning and asking, how they plan on spending their day and if they have any exciting plans they are looking forward to. She loves gardening and is very excited to welcome her expected child to the world! Individually, she accomplished advancing her career starting as an 18 year old CNA, to an LPN nurse, to and RN weekend supervisor and finally as an RN/ADON. As a team accomplishment, she is very proud of all the staff that came together during the peak of COVID-19. She recommends people come to Grace Norman because they provide excellent care to our residents.

Debbie Coleman-Jones, Business Office/Admissions Coordinator

Debbie has been with Grace Norman for 21 years, she enjoys getting to know the residents and their families. She graduated from Country Club Academy/Rose State College. She is very thankful for her team coming together and getting through COVID-19 and the constant changes with her co-workers. She has worked at other healthcare providers and says Grace Norman is above and beyond the best place she has worked. She highly recommends Grace Norman because of the dedicated and caring staff and the fact that Grace Norman is a family. Debbie in her spare time enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, especially with her 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Tarah Cargill, RN | LTC Case Manager

Tarah has been with Grace Norman for almost 10 years and she sees it as her second home. She enjoys the time she gets to spend with co-workers and residents, Grace Norman is a family-like environment. She highly recommends Grace Norman because they have the BEST staff, including Grace Norman’s Physician and Nurse Practitioner. They treat residents in a professional yet loving manner. She enjoys hearing the residents’ stories, about life, their families and what they did growing up. Her biggest accomplishment at Grace Norman was becoming an RN, she started as a receptionist and with hard work and dedication worked her way up the ladder. She’s very proud of Grace Norman’s staff when COVID was at it’s peak. Her co-workers came together as a team and beat COVID.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Misty Cannon, LPN, MDS Case Manager

Misty has been with Grace Norman for 10 years, she says working here is like getting to work with your friends everyday! She attended both OU and OCCC. She has been an LPN for 14 year and she is currently in school working towards her RN certification.

She has worked here for a long time because of the compassionate staff, caring physicians, the wonderful activities program and the intergenerational school program that has lifted up so many of our elders.

She enjoys greeting her residents at breakfast each morning. Her greatest accomplishment individually at Grace Norman is getting promoted to management after being a floor nurse for several years. She enjoys this side of nursing, but can still pick up extra shifts as a floor nurse. As a team she was extremely proud of everyone at Grace Norman during COVID-19, the most challenging time in her nursing career.

She would recommend Grace Norman to people because of their home-like environment, knowledgeable nursing staff, and the dedicated Therapy team.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and getting to together with family and friends.

Elaine Julian, PPS Case Manager

Elaine has worked for Bridges Health since 1997 -she had to take a short break to raise her son. She has always worked in the Skilled/Rehab nursing industry – she started as a floor nurse before taking the Case Management position in 2005. 

She loves working in the Skilled Nursing industry because she enjoys witnessing patients rehabilitate and regain their strength and function to return home. 

She believes at Grace Norman they give excellent care to their patients from everyone –their awesome leadership,  incredible nurses and floor staff, amazing therapists and the best Physician.

The staff at Grace Norman are a true family, she said. They have true teamwork and they care about each other and their patients.

Her favorite thing she likes to do with the patients is hear their life stories. They have the most amazing stories and experiences that the Grace team could all learn from.

The team here at Grace Norman is exceptional.  They celebrate their accomplishments and milestones. When they are faced with tough times, they have each other’s back! She would never work anywhere else!

Meagen Quinton, LPN Skilled Case Manager

Meagen has been with Grace Norman for 6 years, she enjoys working with her like-minded co-workers who all strive for excellence and care for our residents.

She would recommend Grace Norman because Grace will provide compassionate, dignified care. The care team at Grace Norman is very knowledgeable and skilled in this specialty and they have the passion to serve. Meagen looks at Grace Norman as her second home. She enjoys listening and talking to the residents every day. Meagen says that the team’s biggest accomplishment was during COVID, even through the dark times, the team stayed together and helped each other through a very scary and sad time.

She said if she could she would shout from the rooftops for people to come to Grace Norman!

In her spare time she enjoys doing arts and crafts, spending time with her husband and daughter and definitely loves the outdoors.

Heather Parsons, Director of Community Engagement

Heather has been with Grace Norman for almost a year. She says the staff she has worked with and the leadership both at the facility and at the corporate level has far exceeded her expectations. She attended Delta State University; played volleyball and graduated magna cum laude with a BBA in Marketing and Management. She recommends this facility to anyone searching for a helping hand, because not only does she work here, she’s has had family members as residents at Grace Norman. She’s grateful for the firsthand and excellent care and attention given to each resident. She is proud of the dedication and longevity of staff members and that her facility is a 5-star facility. In her spare time she plays in a co-ed volleyball league, loves OCRs, hiking and being outdoors. Most importantly she is the proud mother of her two kids.

LaVonne Maddox, Activity Director

LaVonne has been working for Grace Norman for 20 years. She enjoys interacting with residents everyday, she loves sharing the resident’s ups and downs as it pertains to their Grace family and their own family. She attended Spring Lake Vo-Tech and has loved every minute of her career in the medical field. Her personal greatest accomplishment was living and conquering a year of COVID and the challenges she faced with her family at Grace Norman. She highly recommends Grace Skilled Nursing & Therapy to anyone seeking assistance in everyday life. Her mother-in-law and cousin both have been residents at Grace Norman. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband of 38 years and is extremely proud of her two sons.
